Joel Nath founded Proper Tea Law after two careers that both centered on getting people through complicated, high-stakes situations. Before law school, he spent nearly a decade in Colorado Springs real estate with a specialty in foreclosures, bankruptcies, and distressed sales that included testifying as an expert witness and closing hundreds of homes. In 2021 he was named to the National Association of Realtors’ 30 Under 30, and went on to found Stone Gable Realty, where as owner and managing broker he now oversees legal, contractual, and ethical compliance for the brokerage’s agents and teaches the contracts and negotiation classes that keep them out of trouble.

That real estate career ran alongside service in the Army and Army Reserve, including time as a Staff Sergeant at Fort Carson and, later, as a Team Sergeant for a civil affairs teams with the 440th.

Joel earned his JD from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law, graduating in the top 10% of his class, and scored in the top percentile on the Bar exam. Furthermore, he holds an MBA and a MSM from Colorado Technical University. Outside of the office, he coaches youth soccer, enjoys the incline, flips properties, and hangs out with his family.

The result is a real estate attorney who has sold the house, negotiated the contract, trained the agents, and now argues the law; Colorado Springs counsel built from the inside out.
